Best Jazz Bass on the Affinity range

I own this white Jazz Bass Limited Edition Affinity series made in Indonesia, I have the first generation that came in 2020. Neck is great, specially if you have small hands, I dont but it feels very conformtable to play, body paint is very good, frets are well made no sharp edges. Neck is one piece maple neck, sound is great I and the white color with white pickguard is always good looking bass. I own the real Vintage Fenders and this one is not my first Squier but is one of the favorite ones.

I would not buy again if they all came in the same condition

I just bought this combo, and there are many things wrong with the bass, everything else like the Amp are fine, I get that it's a Squier and not something fancy but I've seen better build quality from no name $100 basses shipped from China, the frets are way to wide for the neck and are cutting my fingers, I know the neck can shrink from shipping and it's an easy fix, but it's bad, the neck joint has a couple millimeters worth of gap on each side, one of the pickups has a huge scratch on it, the body paint has wear spots where the pickups are, and the headstock had some sort of glue all over it, all are minor problems and at the end of the day it still plays well, and sounds good but it's not something I would expect from squier given that I've bought 2 others with no issues.

I'm an amateur player aiding a strings music school during presentations and this bass is a fine and confortable instrument, easy to play and perfectly light, I have back problems and don't suffer at all because of its weight. The amp it is what you need to practice at home and in small places, I also use it with my other bass without any issue. Don't expect too much from the strap, cable or the gig bag, they are just fair for the overall price!

  • Awesome,especially for the price

Forget the review of the Bass,,,, opinions, opinions, opinions. My gripe is how Guitar Center and Fender conspire to fool their loyal customers into buying their products. The top horn of the Squir Jazz is no where near as tall as the amp (per the misleading pic). The perspective to achieve that must have been clear across street - Y'all can do better.

  • A great deal.
