Description
The Moog Muse analog polysynth represents the culmination of over five years of passion and design prowess from the minds at Moog. This eight-voice bi-timbral instrument melds the rich sonic heritage of legendary Moog synths with innovative modern features, making it an inspiring centerpiece for studios and stages alike. From the intuitive layout to the deep editing capabilities, the Muse is built to spark creativity and fuel boundless musical exploration.

Authentic Analog Tones From the Legends
The Muse's sound engine pays homage to the iconic synthesizers that came before it. Vintage-derived discrete oscillators imbue your patches with lush warmth and character. A saturating analog mixer drives the dual classic transistor ladder filters, allowing complex harmonic interplay. Discrete stereo amplifiers add girth and presence. You'll experience the nuanced, evolving timbres that could only come from true analog circuitry.

Expansive Modulation Playground
While rooted in vintage designs, the Muse exponentially expands its sonic possibilities with innovative modulation capabilities. The dedicated modulation oscillator acts as a third oscillator source for creating complex, dynamic textures. There is also a Pitch LFO with customizable waveforms which enables intricate rhythmic patterns and sweeping movements. Every module has its own menu for deep editing of rates, shapes and routings. With probabilistic functions and per-step editing of the sequencer, you can create evolving, otherworldly soundscapes.

Performative Sequencing and Arpeggiation
The Muse's arpeggiator is a powerful real-time performance tool, with per-timbre clock division, octave range, patterns, directions and rhythmic programming. But the 64-step sequencer is where you can truly unlock the synth's full potential. Arrange melodic lines, basslines and modulation data independently per sequence. Per-step editing enables microscopic details, while sequence chaining allows extended evolving arrangements. You can even record and tweak every parameter's movement for unprecedented rhythmic expression.

Designed for Effortless Hands-on Control
True to Moog's philosophy, the Muse provides a pure, unadulterated connection between you and your sound. A knob-per-function layout gives you immediate access to all essential parameters. Individual menus for each module are navigated via the OLED display. Dedicated buttons for chord memory, arpeggiator and sequencer transport put powerful performance controls at your fingertips. The Muse's thoughtful design keeps your inspiration flowing from initial sound sculpting to final performance.
Whether you're a studio explorer or touring musician, the Moog Muse is an uncompromising instrument that honors the past while forging into the future. Its vast tonal palette and deep editing capabilities ensure you'll be creating expressive, unique sounds for years to come. Experience analog majesty and cutting-edge synthesis with the Muse analog polysynth.

This is third Moog in family. Great poly addition to Model D and Subsequent 37CV. Sounds gorgeous, handy layout and controls. Inspiring use flow and very approachable to experiment. Only one issue is quirky tuning procedure.

After using soft synths for years, I decided to invest in some actual hardware. I knew that in many ways a real synth was going to be more expensive than software and probably less flexible. There were a range of nice options to choose from a various price points, including Arturia's Polybrute 12 and the ASM Hydrasynth, both of which offered more voices and some very cool featuresets. I opted for the Muse because I love the synth's sound and after having the opportunity to play with one for a short time, I was confident that I'd be able to use it for my projects. I do not regret my decision. This is an inspiring instrument to work with and the sounds are like the comfort food of the synth universe. The Moog Muse is easy to use and has some great innovations in the arpeggiator and sequencer, which nicely complement sound design and the instrument's flexible modulation setup. The Muse's layout makes programming straightforward, but there are deep options to explore. Overall, the Muse is just a lot of fun which is, at the end of the day, what music's about.
