Part of a severely limited run, the Martin CST 00-45 Madagascar Rosewood Acoustic Guitar features the striking beauty of premium Madagascar rosewood back, side and headstock, which also makes this guitar a bit lighter than its Brazilian rosewood cousins, but just as beautiful, if not more. Its Adirondack spruce top and ebony fingerboard help take the already naturally strong, sustained tone of the Madagascar rosewood and gives you even more projection.

Adding to the aesthetically pleasing tonewoods are grained ivoroid black-white-black binding along the top, back, and fingerboard. The headplate features black-white binding and is also is styled out with a .0325 B/W Boltaron inlay and alternate torch (blue paua) designed inlay. Both make the already umistakeable diamond-shaped, slotted headstock that much more eye-catching. Other appointments include a D-45 rosette and purflling, bone nut, low-profile neck, bone nut, Waverly W48 Brass (3500) sidemount tuning machines with small ivoroid buttons, and a dovetail neck joint.

Ensuring this guitar will last you for many years, Martin used hide glue for the bridge, neck, braces, top and back with a non-catalyzed gloss finish.
