Unleash your inner shredder with the Jackson JS Series Dinky JS20 DKQ 2PT electric guitar. Built for speed and aggression, this ax provides the looks, feel and tone metal players need—all without breaking the bank. The sleek, contoured poplar body turns heads with its eye-catching quilted maple top, while the fast maple neck with graphite reinforcement glides smoothly up and down the fingerboard. Jumbo frets on an amaranth fingerboard facilitate intricate solos and make string bending a breeze. When it's time to melt faces, the dual humbucking pickups serve up thick, crunchy tone perfect for heavy riffs and scorching leads. Add in the whammy bar for expressive pitch effects, all-black hardware for a sinister metal aesthetic and you've got a relentless metal machine primed to dominate any stage.

Shred With Ease Across the Fast Maple Neck

The Jackson JS20 DKQ's smooth maple neck provides effortless playability ideal for racing up and down the fingerboard. Reinforced with graphite for added rigidity and stability, the bolt-on neck features a scarf joint for enhanced sustain. The amaranth fingerboard further optimizes speed and comfort with its 12"-16" compound radius and jumbo frets. These oversized frets facilitate intricate solos and make string bending a cinch. The neck is topped off with pearloid sharkfin inlays and black side dots for stylish visual flair. Overall, the JS20 DKQ's fast neck gives you the tools to play as quickly and accurately as your skills allow.

Crunch Out Bone-Crushing Tones With Dual Humbuckers

This metal monster comes loaded with a pair of Jackson's own high-output humbucking pickups, equipped with ceramic magnets for hot and heavy tone. These brutal humbuckers deliver thick, crunchy tones perfect for downtuned chugging and searing lead lines. Just roll back the volume and tone knobs to clean up the sound when needed. The 3-way pickup selector provides versatile tonal options, from glassy neck tones to a fat bridge growl and everything in between. Unleash the JS20 DKQ's sonic fury through a distortion pedal and amplifier stack and you'll have all the firepower you need to rattle walls and speakers alike.

Add Expressive Pitch Effects With the Whammy Bar

No shred machine would be complete without a whammy bar and the JS20 DKQ delivers. Its synchronized 2-point fulcrum tremolo bridge is ready for intense dive bombs, fluttering warbles and everything in between. The recessed cavity allows for increased tremolo motion compared to vintage trems so you can get as crazy as you want with the pitch effects. Whether you want subtle shimmers or seismic drops that rattle the room, this whammy bar puts expressive pitch control right at your fingertips.

Aggressive All-Black Hardware for Sinister Metal Aesthetic

From its imposing headstock shape to the 2-point bridge, the JS20 DKQ drips with menacing metal attitude. The all-black hardware finishes off the look, creating a sinister charm ready to captivate audiences. The black die-cast tuning machines provide precision tuning stability even during extreme tremolo use. And the smooth black plastic nut helps notes ring out clearly. With its devilish good looks and unrelenting tone, the Jackson JS20 DKQ commands the stage and delivers the tools modern metal guitarists need.

I am schocked how well this entry level guitar plays. The pickups also sound very powerful and beefy. The tuners and bridge are typical for guitars at this price point.

I bought this primarily for the neck, which was shockingly very good at this price point. Comfortable feel with absolutely NO sharp edges. I changed out the pups, nut and saddles, but it actually sounded good with the Jackson pups it came with, I'm just picky about not having SD or DiMs. I would recommend this guitar very highly!!
