The feel and sound of A fretless fingerboard . Is Amazing , gone is the fret buzz . Bending and sliding up and down this ebony fret board is so easy and smooth . So many Tonal possibilities .. I really dig the sound of just the neck pick up by itself . THE ( Precision )pick up position you have 3 to choose from neck , both are bridge . The drop D On E string Tuner wow , The feel and balance of this bass even the weight are on point . My biggest adjustment to the fretless fingerboard wasn't there not being frets , you have the Side dot markers for hand positioning . It feels thinner than your average Fender 4 string precision or jazz bass .. Coming from my 5 and 6 strings my fingers want to wrap-around the entire fretboard . . You We'll fall in love with the feel and sound as well as the playability of this fretless bass If you're on the fence I suggest you check it out . After all it's a Fender

Amazing bass!! The Lake Placid blue is gorgeous & it sounds & plays beautifully. Not my 1st fretless but it is a super bass. I love the throw switch which gives you the ability to dial in the pick ups individually & then combine them for about any thumpin' sound you would ever need or want. Trust me you won't be sorry you bought this bass.

Amazing tone, versatile, great neck, killer bass. I exclusively play 70's P Basses with the exception of this instrument. Can't say enough great things about it. Pick one up now!

I'm fairly new to fretless bass - but, did have a fretted fretless Spector previously that I got rid of. Although I really liked fretless bass - I wasn't particularly crazy about this particular one. I decided to give it another go, and figured that I would go with the best. Needless to say I was completely blown away by the quality of this instrument. I have owned it for approximately a month - and I haven't even picked up my Fender American Jazz Deluxe V since (although this is another amazing instrument). The transition to an unlined fretless has been much smoother than I had anticipated as well. Hands down - the finest instrument that I have ever laid my hands upon, and one I fully intend to own for the rest of my life.
