collapse expand iconDescription

The Fender American Ultra Stratocaster is built for pushing creative boundaries. It features a trio of Ultra Noiseless pickups—including a humbucker in the bridge position—for shaping a variety of tones from shimmering cleans to high-gain distortion. The maple Modern D neck has a compound-radius rosewood fingerboard with 22 medium-jumbo frets for speedy, accurate soloing.

Fender American Ultra Stratocaster HSS Pickups

Versatile and Innovative Pickup Configuration

The Fender American Ultra Stratocaster features a humbucker in the bridge position and two single-coil Ultra Noiseless pickups in the middle and neck positions. This combination provides a wealth of tonal options from crisp cleans to snarling distortion. The humbucker delivers tight, high-output tone, while the single coils provide the glassy, chimey tones the Stratocaster is known for. With a 5-way selector switch, you have access to each pickup individually—as well as combinations in between.

Fender American Ultra Stratocaster Rosewood Neck

Fast, Comfortable Maple Neck

The Fender American Ultra Stratocaster has a Modern D maple neck with a compound radius rosewood fingerboard. The neck has a rounded profile for comfort and speed. The fingerboard has a gradual radius change from 10" at the nut to 14" at the highest fret for low-action playing across all registers. 22 medium-jumbo frets make navigating the fingerboard and executing precise bends a breeze.

Fender American Ultra Stratocaster Alder Body

Iconic Alder Body for Resonant Tone

The Fender American Ultra Stratocaster features an alder body, which provides a balanced tone with solid lows, warm mids and shimmering highs. The body shape is the iconic Stratocaster double cutaway, allowing for easy access to the higher frets.

Fender American Ultra Stratocaster HSS Tremolo Bridge

Vintage-Style Tremolo Bridge

The Fender American Ultra Stratocaster has a 2-post synchronized tremolo bridge for expressive pitch-bending effects. The bridge has vintage styling but with enhancements for greater tuning stability and sustain. Use the tremolo arm to subtly enhance your solos or for more dramatic pitch dives.

The Fender American Ultra Stratocaster pushes the boundaries of a classic design. With innovative pickups, a fast neck and expressive tremolo bridge, this guitar provides modern playability and a range of inspiring tones for today's creative musician.

Modern Ergonomics Meet Classic Style

The American Ultra Stratocaster HSS has a comfortably contoured alder body in Fender's legendary Strat shape with an Ultraburst finish. The Modern D neck profile feels full in your hand without excess bulk, and the rolled fingerboard edges and tapered neck heel provide an unparalleled level of comfort.

Ultra Noiseless Pickups Deliver Endless Tonal Possibilities

This guitar is equipped with Fender's Ultra Noiseless Hot Strat single-coil pickups in the middle and neck positions, providing classic Strat tones without the hum. The Ultra Double Tap humbucker in the bridge position offers raw humbucker tones as well as crisp single coil sounds at the flip of a switch. Combined with a 5 way pickup selector switch and dedicated volume and tone controls for each pickup, this versatile pickup configuration offers a vast tonal palette for any musical style.

Premium Components for Premium Performance

The American Ultra Stratocaster HSS also features a synchronized tremolo bridge with stainless steel saddles for classic Fender vibrato, locking tuning machines, chrome hardware and a bone nut. It includes a premium molded hardshell case for protection and transport.

I use my American Ultra for studio work exclusively. Easy to play for hours with less fatigue due to the thickness, contour and compound radius neck. The neck pocket contour allows for effortless access to the upper frets. Stays in tune with heavy tremelo use. Versatile tones and sound

I have a number of guitars (like everybody else). I find that I consistently picked up my Strat Elite when I sat down to play. I had been thinking about buying the Strat Ultra for a couple of years and finally did it. I enjoy playing my Ultra even more than the Elite. They are both amazing. The neck is perfect for me. I play both a lot, but the Ultra is just a little better.

  • Plays as good as it looks!!!

I suppose I'm an intermediate player, 49 years old and have been playing for about 15 years. I have a MIM, American Standard and American Pro Strat. I picked up the Ultra after being offered a discount due to an unstocked item that could not be delivered. While I'm not a pro, I really enjoy being a hobbyist. Here's my "Hobbyist" take on these guitars. They are all really, really good guitars....if my MIM strat was all that I owned, I would love it. However, The Ultra is shades better than the pro, the pro is shades better than the American standard and the American Standard is shades better than the MIM. Why? The noiseless pickups really fit my ear, the sustain on the ultra is crazy good, and the feel of the neck on the ultra I find to be amazing. I have zero buyers remorse with the Ultra.

I have no way to answer that. This is a famous guitar/name. Do some research. Some players think it's easier. I don't know what your references for 'easier 'are. You need to play one.

I’m sorry, this item is not eligible for store pickup. Can you have it delivered to someone in the US?. You would need to have it shipped to Brazil.
