This pedal rocks!
EH did it again with this one. A great chorus/flanger pedal, both of them sound incredible. Great for Floyd type sounds and the rate knob allows for tons of tonal options. One of the coolest features is the filter matrix mode when the rate knob is 12 o'clock or lower. you can also get a leslie type unvibe sound to it. I love this thing, deffinitley reccommended!

EH electric mistress
This pedal has some cool and unique sounds in it, but I ended up returning it and keeping the EH small clone I bought at the same time. I found that the mixed sounds( chorus and flange together) were cool and different, but the chorus alone was not near as good as the small clone. It's just not as clear and defined. The flange alone can't compare to a boss flanger either. Overall it seems a bit muddy or muffled. I had no use at all for the weird frozen filter matrix sound. after 12 o clock things get too wierd and effected for me. I guess some people want that, but it's useless for what I play. All I need is a killer simple chorus or flange that has awesome tone over weird options. Go with a small clone for a sweet chorus with 2 modes and a flange like tone at lower settings for 84 bucks!

Outstanding Pedal

I was looking for something to get in the ballpark of an Andy Summers tone and started reading about the Electric Mistress. I went for this modern version because I couldn't resist getting a flanger and chorus in one pedal. I find the range of tones you can achieve to be outstanding. With some experimentation you can get many diverse colors and textures. It's sturdy and very well designed. I highly recommend this pedal.
I would buy this product again!

A little noisy and not a real deep "flange" but works great for my bass
