We only need keys from time to time. This rig allows us to conserve space in the stage, get the sound we are looking for and add to the song with ease.

I was having problems with my control surface by Akai So I decided to try a controller with built in faders. The faders worked perfectly, and I can use it along with my Komplete keyboard.

Does this need to be plugged in to work or is it a standalone keyboard
The Arturia MiniLab 3 is not a standalone keyboard; it needs to be plugged into a computer via USB to function as it is a MIDI controller that relies on a computer to process the MIDI data it sends from its keys and controlssubmitted2 years ago
