Description
American Audio's VMS4.1 is designed for performance-minded DJs looking for a solid, all-in-one MIDI Controller to play MP3 tracks from their laptop, plus have the option to add CD Players and turntables to the mix. The VMS4.1 features four MIDILOG Channels (compatible with any MIDI Software or Analog Inputs - such as CD Players, Turntables, etc.), two microphone inputs, balanced XLR outputs, a built-in 4-In/4-Out soundcard , and comes with American Audio's exclusive DSP D-Core Audio Engine inside. To top it off, it's also bundled with Virtual DJ LE software so you're ready to go right out of the box.
Upgrades from it's predecessor include entirely new internal hardware, quadruple the output, a bigger power supply, LEDs on the knobs and buttons that are brighter so it's easier to use in dark club environments, a more stout facer mounting, and, most importantly, even better sound quality, especially the mic sound, quality, and output. The VMS.1's more linear EQ design works better with Traktor software (sold separately), and it has advanced cell phone interface shielding so you don't have to worry about unexpected performance issues in the middle of a gig. The VMS4.1 was also built with American Audio's unique D Core processing so it is faster and smoother than their earlier products.
