Alesis Strata Prime features an all-mesh drum pad configuration, including snare, toms and kick drum, providing the rebound and playing feel of an acoustic kit. The 14" snare, and 8", 10", 12" and 14" toms are dual-zone, enabling you to trigger different sounds from the head and rim. Its 20" kick drum pad features an acoustic shell-like form factor, delivering a satisfying rebound that mimics a conventional bass drum. No matter how you configure the kit, automatic crosstalk filtering provides a clean signal. With the Strata Prime, you get to experience the joy of playing drums in a format designed for practice and performance.

360-Degree Cymbals and Hi-Hat With Magnetic Technology

The Strata Prime comes with 360-degree triple-zone cymbals—two 16" crashes and an 18" ride—that detect hits across the bow, edge and bell. It also includes a 14" hi-hat with magnetic technology, providing a natural feel and closing motion. Play foot splashes, tight closed hi-hats, loose open hi-hats and everything in between with precision. The hi-hat pad sits on a traditional hi-hat stand (sold separately), so it feels familiar under your foot.       Really impressed. They are probably the best sounding electronic drums I've played. The triggers are really advanced and it really does feel like a real drum. All of the hardware is well made and the drum shells are quite pretty. The module itself is good but it can be a little complex and slow. Overall good

The module is user-friendly, and the customization options are extensive. The build quality of the Strata Prime is excellent.       Have had this kit for about 2 weeks now and I absolutely love it! The sound is great, and the kit was a major upgrade from my previous strike pro. Really enjoying it so far.
