If at any time within 45 days of your purchase from us, you find the identical item advertised by an authorized US dealer that's in stock at a price lower than what you paid, Guitar Center will fully protect you. Just bring in the ad, even if it's our own, along with your original Guitar Center receipt, and we'll gladly refund you 100% of the difference. 45 DAY SATISFACTION GUARANTEE 

Our goal is your total satisfaction. 

If you’re not satisfied, neither are we. If for any reason you’re not completely satisfied with your purchase, simply return it in its original condition within 45 days of purchase (see exceptions below) and we’ll give you a full refund. It’s that simple. Returned items must be in original, brand-new condition, showing no signs of wear or use such as belt-buckle or pick scratches, scuffs, dings or scrapes on the instrument or collateral materials. Items must also include all original packaging, manuals, warrantees and accessories or your return may be subject to a return handling charge. See detailed return handling charges here. Your refund will be promptly processed upon completing evaluation of your returned item. Refunds are made for product value only, excluding shipping and handling charges. If you received Free Shipping on your order, the value of the uncharged shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. To avoid return shipping fees, return your online purchase at your nearest Guitar Center retail location.

 

Exceptions to 45-day return period:

  • Return within 14 days of purchase - recording devices, DJ equipment, workstation keyboards, rack signal processors and lighting/fog machines.
  • Return within 3 days of purchase – vintage instruments
  • No returns - clearance items, discontinued items, Apple hardware, opened software, software downloads, books, CDs, videos, turntable cartridges, tubes, in ear buds, earplugs and monitors.

Abuse of Return Privileges – Our return policy is in place to ensure our customers never get stuck with a wrong piece of gear.  Those who violate the spirit of our return policy by having excessive returns may be subject to limitations or suspension of return privileges.

REPAIR DISCLAIMER

At Guitar Center, we are committed to making the repair process as easy as possible for our customers. Guitar Center does not own or operate repair service centers; however, we can refer you to a local independent repair service center. Sometimes, we will facilitate the transportation of equipment to one of these local independent repair service centers (or other manufacturer authorized repair or service center). In any case, Guitar Center accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to any customer owned merchandise no matter whether it was sent for repair or referred out by us, and furthermore, we do not, in any manner, guarantee any aspect of the work performed by an independent repair service center or other third party provider of repairs or service. Additionally, the customer is also fully responsible for all charges incurred, including but not limited to, freight to and from the repair service center, parts, labor, local tax, handling fee and surcharge/estimate fee (if any). Merchandise not picked up (and paid for) within 90 days after notification (using the contact information provided to us) of completed repairs will be sold by Guitar Center for the cost of repairs.

Refunds for cash purchases over $25.00 will be made by check.

SPECIAL LIMITED EDITION AND VINTAGE MUSICAL INSTRUMENT DEPOSITS AND/OR PREORDERS

Guitar Center regularly offers both vintage and special limited edition musical instruments to the public. Because the supply is extremely limited on these instruments and demand is often far beyond the supply, all deposits, credit on account and preorders of vintage and/or special edition musical instruments are still strictly subject to availability. The prepayment of a deposit does not guarantee that you have purchased or will receive the instrument; it merely establishes that you are on the priority list for that instrument, subject to availability. If you have placed a deposit, credit on account and/or preorder of one of these vintage and/or special limited edition musical instruments and we are not able to deliver the instrument to you due to its limited availability, we will offer you a full refund of your deposit.
