Description
Zildjian Adrian Young Signature Drumsticks are among the most unique looking sticks available anywhere. The back half of the stick is black with Adrian's name printed on the stick in signature "No Doubt" text in a great silver checkerboard graphic, while the front half is white. Complemented by a black nylon tip for extra durability and clear projection, this Zildjian stick is truly distinctive.
The signature Adrian Young Zildjian stick is full sized and crafted from U.S. Select Hickory stick”16-1/2" inches in length and 0.585 inches in diameter. It's a perfect stick for rock, punk, ska, Burundi and every other style of music that Adrian plays.
Long Beach California native Adrian Young auditioned for the band No Doubt in 1989 with scarcely one year playing experience to his name, and he landed the gig. Adrian quickly proved himself to be a very solid and creative musician. His infectious rock/ska-flavored rhythms helped No Doubt achieve multiplatinum status with their 1995 major-label release, "Tragic Kingdom." Adrian has been able to masterfully blend his various rock, ska, and punk influences to develop a playing style which compliments his band and serves each song very well. After playing with the Vandals on a 2-week European tour, Adrian spent the better part of 2000 on the road with No Doubt in support of their release "Return of Saturn."
