Willis Music

Gillock gives helpful visual directives in this winsome duet composed in 1988: Upon entering the park (the intro), an animated section chasing butterflies takes place before switching to humorous well-articulated measures feeding the ducks. This is followed by a short mellow section: lying in the grass-watching the clouds, before ending with an energetic bang, hurrying home! The activity changes help the students create visual mental pictures to help make this piece a rewarding collaborative experience. NFMC selection 2008-10.
