Willis Music Buckeye Mamborama (1 Piano, 4 Hands Early Advanced Level) Willis Series by David Karp

This Cuban-flavored piece was commissioned by the All Ohio Piano Ensemble for the advanced group of piano students, called The Dream Team. The rhythmic energy of the Mambo and its ostinati pervaded the repertoire of the musical dance bands for the better part of the second half of the 20th century, with Tito Puente and many others helping to establish the Mambo as an exciting and exotic dance.
