Unlock pristine studio monitoring on your existing speakers and headphones with the Sonarworks SoundID Reference for speakers and headphones with Apollo. This calibration software bundle integrates directly into Universal Audio's Apollo X interfaces, delivering consistently accurate reference sound tailored to your gear. With an applied calibration profile, SoundID Reference flattens the frequency response across all audible frequencies—emulating neutral, translation-ready studio monitors.

Precision-Calibrated Sound for Your Headphones

Experience studio-grade monitoring on your favorite headphones. SoundID Reference provides ready-to-use calibration profiles for over 500 supported headphone models. Simply select your headphones and the software will apply meticulous frequency compensation. You'll hear a stunningly flat reference sound with pinpoint accuracy—ideal for critical mixing and mastering decisions. Bypass the need for pricey new monitors and get professional reference audio from the cans you already own.

Dial in Flawless Speaker Calibration

Optimize your stereo speaker system with SoundID Reference's precise measurement and calibration tools. Using the included measurement microphone, the software accurately captures your speakers' unique acoustic signature. SoundID Reference then applies a custom calibration profile to counteract any room modes or resonances. You'll achieve a perfectly neutral frequency response tailored to your specific monitoring environment—ensuring you hear an honest, reliable reference sound at all times.

Flexible Processing for Your Workflow

SoundID Reference offers three filter modes to accommodate different use cases. The Zero Latency mode provides real-time monitoring with no delay. The Mixed mode combines unprocessed audio with calibrated audio for seamless referencing. And the Linear Phase mode delivers pristine calibration with linear phase coherence. You can further refine your monitoring with handy processing controls like Mono, Dry/Wet blend and Safe Headroom limiting.

Customizable Calibration and Hardware Integration

Take control of your monitoring with SoundID Reference's advanced customization features. Adjust the target curve in real-time to shape your ideal reference sound. Or use the Translation Check to audition over 20 different device emulations—letting you preview your mix on various environments. Plus, the software integrates with a growing list of DSP-enabled hardware, allowing you to apply speaker and headphone calibration profiles directly at the hardware level for ultralow latency.
