The Ernie Ball FlexTune Clip-On Tuner provides musicians with an innovative solution for quickly and accurately tuning their instruments. The FlexTune features an oversized 2" LCD screen that offers a vibrant display readable from any angle, thanks to its dual-axis 360-degree pivot arm allowing complete adjustability. The FlexTune is a portable clip-on tuner suitable for guitar, bass, ukulele, violin and other stringed instruments. With selectable clip and microphone sensors for incredibly sensitive tuning, the FlexTune is a must-have for any guitarist wanting to ensure their instrument is performance-ready.

A Vibrant Screen That Won't Let You Down

The FlexTune's 2" LCD screen provides a large, easy-to-read display so you'll never struggle to determine if you're in tune. Its vibrant screen offers a bold visual representation of the note you're playing, with indicators to let you know if you need to tune up or down. The oversized screen, combined with the FlexTune's dual-axis pivot arm, allows you to position the tuner for optimal visibility no matter your instrument or playing position.

Hear and Feel Your Way to Perfect Pitch

With both clip and microphone sensors, the FlexTune gives you options for how you tune. Attach the clip sensor to your instrument's headstock for a direct vibration pickup, or use the built-in mic to tune by ear. Either method provides fast, precision tuning with accuracy to within 1 cent. Select your preferred sensor based on your instrument and environment—the FlexTune handles the rest.

Simple Controls for Serious Tuning

Despite its advanced features, the FlexTune remains easy to operate. Simply power on the tuner, select your instrument from the chromatic, guitar, bass, ukulele or violin modes and play a note. The FlexTune detects the pitch and displays the note, while arrows indicate whether to tune up or down. An intuitive design and clearly marked buttons make the FlexTune a breeze for musicians of all levels to use.

Roadworthy and Ready to Rock

With a durable yet lightweight build, the FlexTune can handle the rigors of touring and frequent use. It runs on a single 3V lithium battery, providing up to 10 hours of operation per charge so you'll have power for even the longest gigs and studio sessions. The FlexTune also comes with a protective carrying pouch for safe storage and transport when not in use.

Good tuner, but no manual or instructions

First the negative: I would have given it 5 stars if there had been any manual included either online or with the product, so customers support I give 1 star and product quality I give 5 stars. I had to google a review to actually know how to use it. Now onto more positive things... The screen is big and bright and easy to read (good for aging eyes like mine). It clips on well and you can pretty much move the display any way you need to. With no manual you have to figure it out on your own, but once you do it is easy to operate. One big tip I can give you..., forget the other instrument modes and just set it to chromatic. The 'Instrument' modes (guitar, violin, bass, Uke, etc) are pretty dicey and don't work well if you are very far off your pitch, but the chromatic mode is spot on for everything (I tuned my dulcimer, guitar, 12 string, violin all with it no problem). The guitar mode did not know what to do with my 12 string, but chromatic mode worked well. Hope this helps!

Ernie Bal Flextune

I had this tuner for 3 days. It tunes great. However: You have to have the screen angled just right or you can't see it at all. Practically disappears. It did not pick up my acoustic guitar well in Mic mode when it was on the headstock. It felt cheap and light in the hand and the swivel bracket in the back seemed very flimsy. The other thing was that a brand new battery showed almost dead as soon as I put it in. I really wanted this tuner to work out for me. The colors on the screen are great and tuned my guitar good as well. It was just I felt like I kept having to move it to see it. I ended up returning it.
