Commissioned by Florida State University to Celebrate the 65-year history of the university singers, this nineteenth century American parlor song arrangement preserves the nostalgic mood of the original but casts it in a more modern harmonic idion. This would be great as part of a set for American music month. Consider coupling it with Stephen Foster. Difficulty level: Medium Adult.
