Since the late 1950s, Hagstrom guitars have enriched the lives of many musicians. Unlike most companies that build from the ground up, Hagstrom began production with a bang right from the get-go. In fact, their first instruments were built with unique proprietary hardware and eye-catching sparkle pearloid celluloid finishes. Of course, they also had the performance grit to catch the attention of industry heavy-hitters like Noel Redding, Mike Rutherford and Jimi Hendrix. One of Hagstrom's top-selling guitars is the Viking Semi-Hollowbody Electric Guitar. Praised by guitarists for its ability to capture the tone of pretty much every genre, this versatile 6-string boasts an arched semi-hollow maple body that looks as sweet as it sounds. The Viking has Hagstrom's patented H-Expander truss rod which runs the entire length of the neck and provides tension at both ends. This ridged, lightweight rod allows for very low action and a thin set maple neck. All this, along with a smooth polyester finish for excellent protection on stage and in between gigs, makes the Viking a great choice for touring musicians. Another one of Hagstrom's most cherished models is The Ultra Swede. With its easy playability and powerful projection, this guitar boasts a basswood body, maple top, bound Resinator fretboard, and two Hagstrom Custom '62 humbuckers to give it that classic Hagstrom tone. Plus, its smooth flame maple veneer finish is sure to catch the eye of everyone in the audience, making this guitar perfect for musicians who like to be seen as well as heard. You've got the talent, now all you need is a killer guitar to show it off. Known as one of America's premiere guitar brands, Hagstrom guitars are definitely more than capable of harnessing your signature sound and sharing it with the world.
