Description
The Jimmy Page Signature 1964 SJ-200 Collector’s Edition acoustic guitar is an extraordinary tribute to one of the most influential guitarists in history. Crafted in close collaboration with Jimmy Page himself, this guitar faithfully recreates the mid-60s Gibson SJ-200 that Page used to record Led Zeppelin’s debut album and during his iconic solo performance on the Julie Felix Show. Featuring stunning AAA flamed maple back and sides, a AAA Sitka spruce top, and a vivid Cherry Tea sunburst finish, this limited-edition model is not only a collector’s dream but also a high-performance instrument. Each guitar is personally signed by Jimmy Page on the rear of the headstock, with only 50 available worldwide.
AAA Flamed Maple and Sitka Spruce for Exceptional Sound
The Jimmy Page 1964 SJ-200 Collector’s Edition is built from the finest materials, with AAA flamed maple back and sides and a AAA Sitka spruce top. The Super Jumbo body offers a unique tonal depth, enhanced by a slightly deeper neck joint than standard SJ-200 models. This results in rich, resonant sound with a bold, articulate tone that stands out in any setting. Whether strumming or fingerpicking, this guitar delivers the full, powerful sound that made it a favorite of Jimmy Page during Led Zeppelin’s early days.
Exclusive Design and Vintage Aesthetics
The guitar’s 3-piece flamed maple neck features a comfortable Round profile and is adorned with a bound Indian rosewood fretboard and mother-of-pearl Graduated Crown inlays. The 60s-style rosewood Moustache bridge is equipped with a gold Tune-O-Matic bridge with nylon saddles, contributing to the guitar’s distinct tonal character. The bound headstock is fitted with gold Kluson Waffleback tuners with Keystone buttons, adding vintage appeal. The Murphy Lab light aging process completes the look, giving the guitar an authentic, vintage vibe that mirrors Page’s original instrument.
A True Collector’s Edition
Each of the 50 Jimmy Page Signature 1964 SJ-200 Collector’s Edition guitars is hand-signed by Jimmy Page and comes with a Gibson Custom hardshell case featuring the Zoso logo, a Tune-O-Matic bridge with gold-plated brass saddles, a Zoso Certificate of Authenticity, a custom pickholder with a pick used by Page, and a Gibson "The Garden" vintage-style strap. Additionally, a Gibson handcrafted wooden guitar stand is included, making this guitar a true collector’s piece that celebrates the artistry of Jimmy Page and his legendary contributions to music.
