The lovely melody and flowing harmonies are anticipated, as are the familiar words of the carol, but the accompanying syllables, some almost jazz-like, are a pleasant surprise. Selected for the Bruce Rogers Choral Series, you know it is an excellent college or fine community choir piece. Medium to difficult.
