Breedlove Legacy Adirondack Spruce-Mahogany Concerto Acoustic-Electric Guitar Vintage Sunburst
Description
The Breedlove Legacy Concerto acoustic-electric guitar brings together exceptional tonewoods, hand-voiced construction and LR Baggs electronics for a powerful, nuanced amplified acoustic experience. Its Adirondack spruce top and all-mahogany back and sides produce a balanced, projecting tone. The Legacy Concerto has a comfortable soft C neck profile with fast 16" radius ebony fingerboard, making it easy for players to rip solos and complex chording across the fingerboard. The LR Baggs Anthem pickup and preamp let you shape your amplified tone, with controls right at the soundhole. Hand-voiced by Breedlove's master luthiers in Oregon, the Legacy Concerto is optimized for resonance and sustain. Plug in and let this acoustic-electric come alive.
Powerful Tone Balance With Adirondack and Mahogany
The Legacy Concerto gets its commanding voice from the pairing of Adirondack spruce on top and mahogany back and sides. The rare, lightweight Adirondack spruce offers a complex high end with strong, balanced overtones. All-mahogany back and sides provide a warm, round low-mid foundation. Together, they create a versatile tone palette that accommodates both heavy strumming and delicate fingerpicking. The non-cutaway body further enhances resonance and projection. Whether unplugged or amplified, the Legacy Concerto fills the room with its bold, nuanced voice.
Slim Neck Profile and Fast Fingerboard for Playability
The Legacy Concerto is designed for easy playability across its 25.5" scale length ebony fingerboard. Its soft C neck has a slim profile for comfortable chording and fast soloing. A 16" radius makes string bending a breeze even at the highest frets. The hand-rubbed semi-gloss neck finish optimizes smooth playability. Combined with its 1 7/8" nut width, the Legacy Concerto feels familiar and inviting to players used to steel-string acoustic necks. The cutaway-free body also provides intimate upper fret access despite its size.
Shape Your Sound With LR Baggs Anthem Electronics
Plug in the Legacy Concerto to tap into the versatile tone-shaping power of its LR Baggs Anthem electronics. The soundhole-mounted preamp puts volume, tone and phase controls right at your fingertips. Volume blends the pickup signal with the guitar's natural acoustic output. Separate bass and treble EQ shapes the amplified tone to taste. Phase inverts the pickup signal to cut feedback at high volumes. Mute the preamp and the Legacy Concerto projects its all-solid wood acoustic tone. Add the Anthem's organic electronics and your tone takes on even more power and depth.
Hand-Voiced Bracing Optimizes Resonance
Part of Breedlove's unique Sound Optimization process, the Legacy Concerto is hand-voiced by master luthiers in their Oregon shop. They tap and listen to the guitar's resonance, carefully shaving the braces to enhance vibration and sustain. Thin, strong sound-optimized X bracing supports the spruce top while allowing it to freely resonate. With the Legacy Concerto's construction tuned by ear, it sings with superior resonance unplugged or amplified.
