The 324ce grand auditorium acoustic-electric is constructed to bring out Taylor's famous playability, intonation and style. The popular grand auditorium body design yields ample volume in response to light fingerpicking, and reacts to medium strumming and flatpicking with a clear, balanced sound. A tropical mahogany top and body provide a meaty midrange and elicit dry, earthy, lo-fi sounds with clear, direct tonal character. The 324ce is also equipped with Taylor's ES2 behind-the-saddle pickup, featuring three uniquely positioned and individually calibrated sensors for clear, acoustic tone whether playing through amplification or not. The Taylor Expression System 2 operates through a proprietary 9-volt battery compartment and easy-to-use volume, and active bass and treble controls. All 300 Series instruments ship in a deluxe hard shell case made by Taylor for optimal fit and protection.
