The SH-2n Jazz Model humbucker is an incredibly versatile pickup that will work for almost any style of music. An Alnico 5 bar magnet and a special coil wind give the SH-2n Jazz Model neck a glassy treble response and full, tight bass, while scooped mids help each note to sing clearly even under extreme high gain—or even more extreme speed. The Jazz Model bridge features its own unique coil wind to deliver a bridge tone with extra treble emphasis, a nice tight bottom and a hushed midrange. The result is a clear, bright humbucker that will really make big chords shimmer, and make single notes sound crisp and sharp.

Handbuilt in Seymour Duncan's Santa Barbara, CA, factory, the SH-2n Jazz Model humbucker features an Alnico 5 bar magnet, nickel silver bottom plate, 4-conductor lead wire for multiple wiring options and are vacuum wax potted for squeal-free performance. The Jazz Model humbuckers offer a bright, clear tone that is great for adding clarity to neck position leads, clean rhythm playing or brightening up a dark sounding guitar.

    This is my go to pickup when I'm doing an upgrade or a new build… amazing tone and a big part of a certain aspect of of sound as a guitarist and in some part as a producer on projects I play guitar myself… I love Seymour Duncan pickups in general but this and the Jeff beck in the bridge position can't be beat

    Very bright tones, clean sounds, Jazzy sounding pickup. Exactly what I expected. Perfect for my practicing since I can hear all the notes very clearly and know where I / if I made a mistake. For playing music it was awesome, works great w/ distortion as well, beautiful sounds. I just didn't like that it has "Seymor Duncan" written on it: I don't like to advertise for brands and I dont need other to see I use this or that particular brand. Brands don't represent me.

    Installed the SH-2N neck and SH-4 bridge on my SG last year. My other guitars have been collecting dust since. Seymour Duncan himself said this was his favorite pick up combo, and I quickly learned why. You literally can't find a sound you're NOT happy with....brilliant!
