    Stand was used once a week in a church service setting. 5 months in someone tried to adjust stand without fully loosening adjustment screws (this was not a serious wrenching motion, just a gentle tug to adjust), and the bracket that attaches the boom to the mic-stand screw sheered off. Minor user error should not result in catastrophic device failure!
