So far so good
Wanted some light strings and this was available at my local GC. Installed a set and they are lighter and respond well with good tone. Have only had them on my mando for about a month so I don't know how they'll wear but so far so good. I like them.

Not sure about these
I had a very hard time getting the second high (E) string to go in tune and one of them broke during install. It actually didn't break, but came apart at the base where it looped. My mandolin isn't high end (Savannah) but I'd not had issues in previous changes. I used a tuner so I know it wasn't pulled overly tight. Thankfully it's not my primary instrument.

Like that I can just swing by a GC and pick up good mandolin strings at a fair price. No worries about shipping etc.

These strings are great for 8 strings - 80/20 with a smooth sound. I just put them after removing the old strings. Honestly, there are not a lot of choices, but when it comes to a name-brand, you can't go wrong. We get paid to play - so we are considered professionals.
