    It is very well built, but oddly enough it does not block most of the stand noise. The difference between using this and using a clip is marginal. The build quality is top notch, but the functionality is a little flawed. At this price it might be wise to find another alternative. I'd give the product a solid B-.

    Ordered this mount after GC rep told me it would fit my mic. It didn't. Returned it purchased a more expensive model that works just fine. Otherwise, a nice little mount!

    I purchased this mount for my MXL 990 mic. The mount works well but may need lock washer to keep the adjustment knob tighten. I haven't had it long enough to see if a lock washer is needed.

    Do you sell extra bands for the shockmount, I have old ones that are simply stretched and no good. I don't need to buy the whole shockmount, just new bands.
