Good Quality for the price

I put the Floyd rose special aged silver on my 23 year old jackson Rhoads EX about two years ago and it still works like new after all the abuse. Just because it's made in Korea does not make the quality any less. No stripped screws or loosen tremalo arm after use. The quality holds up to the original Floyd's.

Save for the Real McCoy

Don't waste your money on a special, they are "good enough" for bedroom players but if you are gigging regularly you want an original, either vintage or modern production. After awhile the hardware will start to seize up on these Specials, and when comparing the two you will absolutely notice a difference.

This floyd rose replaced a Jackson under license - a f@ke floyd rose - that was not good. It did not fit perfectly in the space, but I took some material out of the guitar and now I have an excellent tremolo and the guitar is playing much better than before. It looks beautiful too! I have other guitars with US original floyd rose and this one looks/feels exactly the same.

  • Perfect drop in replacement!

I love the Floyd Rose double locking system. It's fine tuning ability, and its consistantcy. Make it a very nice addition to any guitar. I think those who have had negative experiences with the Floyd Rose are for the most part not educated in the proper set up of the system. When installed and set up correctly. It can not be beat. Can an FR do dropped tunings? It's a Hot Rod Tremelo, and I would like to go to drop C/D standard. Thanks!
