these are amazing
these are phenominal. they are sooo much better than using duct tape and napkins. the second i put them on my heads, they sounded 100x better than they used to sound. overall i was amazed by how much better everything is now. they are great!

one of them didn't fit
3 of them were fine. The 16" floor tom ring was slightly too big or warped for some reason so it wouldn't lay flat. I trimmed with scissors and now it fits, but has a slight rattle now of course. But it's nothing that can't be fixed with some of the gel pads. They do the job, if they fit.

I used these years ago and when I started drumming again I began using moon gels. But the gels get flakey and start to fold and tear over time. Ultimately, I use the dampening rings on a few of my snares and the control is precise. The one thing I will say about the Evans rings is that they sit and stay way better than the old ones that I used as a kid.
