    Ernie Ball strings is ALL I've ever used since I first OWNED my '68 Gibson SG. I run these on the 12-string Ovation and EB "Cobalts" on the SG. NUTHIN' else! I'm GLAD to see that EB is now SEALING the string pouches, too. Keeps 'em fresh in all KINDS of weather.

    Toneful, soulful, all around delicious to the ears. The right strings are wrapped, sound/feel much better on my guitar than other 12 string sets

    I use these on a Dean semi hollow body and a D'Angelico acoustic 12 string. Beautiful tone and no breaks. I don't use a string winder on the 9s. I use a very slow gentle touch when winding and tuning those.
