The guitar is awesome. Sounds great plays well. The neck is great for fast playing. Came in tune. The guitar however had some high frets so it could need a minor repair. But certainly can be fixed. ESP might just give you a new one without the issue free of charge.
Very Good Quality Guitar!

The ESP LTD EC-401 is a very high quality instrument. I have no buyers remorse. It's better than I expected. I really can't see paying insultingly high prices for a similar "authentic" guitar when this one is reasonably priced and superior. 24 frets, reinforced headstock, EMG pickups, hard poly finish. No "authentic" guitar has those 21st century features. I will probably buy another ESP/LTD eventually. For now, I'm enjoying the EC-401!
Look no further, this is the one!

ESP has done an amazing job with this guitar. The fit and finish from top to bottom, front and back were perfect. I bought mine in the satin desert sage and I absolutely love the color. Pictures don't come close so doing it justice. As far as tone and sustain, this guitar is outstanding. While the active emg pickups may not be for everyone, with heavier gauge strings and the right amp settings this thing throws some seriously heavy tones and has great sustain. The setup out of the box only needed some slight tuning but the intonation was spot on and the action is superb. This guitar is easily deserving of the five star rating I have given it. If you are looking for a sleek single cut guitar, look no further, this is the one!

Can you please tell me how much this guitar weighs???
All guitars vary depending on the density of the wood. Manufacturers usually only spec size and type of wood. Guitars are generally between 6 and 12 lbs. They can be more. The only way to know the weight of an individual instrument is to weigh it. This will be approximately 8.5 lbssubmitted3 years ago

Is this Satin Desert Sage really a color? Or is it the Military Green on the ESP website?
The Desert Sage was it's own distinct color finish which differed from the Military Green Satin on ESP's website. The Desert Sage was it's own distinct color finish which differed from the Military Green Satin on ESP's website.
