Nice looking stands for cost

So far, these stands have been erected for 3 weeks with no problems. they come nicely packaged so there shouldn't be any scratching during shipping. assembly was pretty easy with the option to had sand or shot to increase stability. These stands are pretty stable. my first concern with any stand is do they wobble. these guys hold their own. I ended up using the screw pegs for feet instead of the spikes with rubber feet. I just don;t see how the spikes could puncture the rubber. Height is right on with my monitor bar. the only thing that would probably make these better if the base board and the monitor board were a little bit bigger. If i put something wide on these like an A77X, i'd be a little nervous.

Unusable buy with caution

One of the poles in the middle of the stand was sticking out way past the other one that it needed to be flush with. This caused the wood around it to bend and crack and it is now unusable and impossible to assemble. If one person would have taken a quick look at this before shipping it this could have been avoided it is so obvious. If it weren't for that the build quality looked pretty good but these are the mistakes that loose customers and I saw another review with the exact same issue so I would not recommend this to anyone because this is obviously a reoccurring issue and your taking a risk buying this.

Piece of junk the holes are misaligned for the pole to fit on the base. It should be a simple put together, but spent an hour trying to screw the dang things in and get around the misalignment. The only way to make it fit is if you were to try to chisel it. But I didn't want to damage it rather send it back.

  • Great stands, but poor manufacturing

I bought these stands once, opened the box, wood was chipped, base of the stands was chipped, misalignment of the holes for the screws. I returned them and place a new order again. Waited another week, same thing. Wood chipped, misalignment, holes don't match the screws.

  • Design - Great Manufacturing Quality - Not so much

Not a bad design but manufacturing quality-entire matter altogether. Fixable if you are into DYI. Arrived with pole holes not aligning to plate. Filing of plates and hammering out metal pieces into place. Wooden part cut uneven, causing tilt. Layered tape on a side to level out

got the black version, all sides were scuffed by what looks like shoddy packing process (someone slid them against each other causing scratches)....I didn't even assemble them as I couldn't get the marks out, so they were returned. word to the wise, inspect them closely....

The holes in the bases didn't line up with the ones in the post. Can't put them together. Maple is cheap laminate, flimsy and knicked. Returned them. Beware, I think I was shipped a "manufacture repackaged product". That is why they are on sale. Spend some money, buy a good pair.

Will these hold the large Yamaha HS8 Monitors and how can I secure them to the base without fear that they will vibrate off the stands?

They have a rubber gripping on the top of it, so you should be alright as far as rumbling off it goes.
