Beats traditional lockstrap to the ground

I'd been looking into different strap locking systems for my multiple guitars, but there's always a few problems in the back of my mind. This strap takes care of all of them. For one, button straps can be stressful to install when they come with bigger screws that could wreck the body if you're not careful. With multiple guitars, you need one system for each guitar you have, which can add up. Not to mention the strap that you can only use on strap lock systems. This sweet little strap needs no installation, and after you buy one you need nothing else. The only way you'll drop your guitar with this strap is if your pins fall out. Fairly simple to use, I would recommend this strap to everyone. My one complain, however, is style choices. I love the black satin, but I would never use any other style available. Am I the only one that things flames are incredibly cliche? Good designs for a 12-year-old, but not much else in my opinion.

Not the best...

This strap does what it was designed to do... Having said that... the design is somewhat short sighted in it's application. I sometimes wonder if manufacturers actually try out of their product before they put them on the market. I originally set out to purchase a set of strap locks when I ran across this. At the time I thought it was a simple answer to my need. The first time I used it I released it had a design flaw. The nature of the designed wouldn't allow the guitar to hang naturally, but the flat area surrounding the locking mechanism caused the guitar to hang at an angle. Also the flat area put pressure against the guitar, resulting in it rubbing against the finish. I could see that it wouldn't be long before it would ware the finish off. I realize that guitars are meant to be played, so some ware and tear is to be expected. It's one thing if I scratch and dent it... but it's a completely different matter if a product I've purchased causes the damage.

This strap is really good quality! I'm sad I didn't see an acoustic strap style in this same print but maybe I missed it. I wouldn't be surprised if i did Lol. If you want this style and do need it to fit an acoustic you can get a D'addario quick release adapter and that solved the issue.!

BACK TO THE GUITAR STRAPS, THEY D/C EASILY AND, THEY FIT EXCELLENTLY ON YOUR OWN GUITARS! I WENT AHEAD AND, BOUGHT MYSELF A FEW EXTRA GUITAR STRAPS WHILE THEY WERE ON SALE AT THE MUSICIANS FRIEND APP/ STORE! THEY FIT MY GRETSCH GUITARS GREAT, AND, EACH ONE HAS ITS OWN FIT. I gig a lot and, until this purchase, have the same strap lock strap on every instrument. I bought them at least 2 decades ago, probably 3 even. Anyway, I have a few new instruments and tried to find the same strap and couldn't, so I'm trying this. It holds a guitar/bass and locks in place. There's not a lot else to be said. I can clip on all of my other straps and I like that because it's easy and fast to fix a strap twist, but to be fair, the few times I've gigged using this strap it never got twisted so it wasn't an issue. Would I buy another one? Yeah, probably. It's cheaper then the D'Addario clip lock strap they'd closer to what I'm used to. The locking mechanism seems a little cheap, but it works and ultimately I'll probably never unlock it so it's not likely to wear out.

  • I don't often need a new guitar strap, this one caught my a.

It's a guitar strap! It works and is an alternative to strap locks. Not being prone to throwing my instrument up and around my shoulder these days, I can't really speak to that. It's comfortable and cool.

I have an Epiphone Masterbuilt acoustic-electric. Will this fit over the large rear pin (which is also the jack for plugging into an amp)?
