The Teenage Engineering CM–15 is a studio-quality microphone with a built-in pre-amp, USB-C audio interface, a 3.5 mm jack and a 48 v phantom-powered mini xlr output. It’s one of the most solid and versatile portable studio microphones available.

Large diaphragm capsules are preferred for professional recording but are rare within the world of portable equipment.
