Fully Hollow Mahogany Body Resonates With Warm, Full Acoustics

In line with vintage Gretsch design, the G6120TGQM-56 has a fully hollow mahogany body that resonates with rich, complex acoustics. The thin, resonant construction allows the guitar to vibrate freely, producing full lows, balanced mids and clear, ringing highs. From your first strum, you'll be impressed by the deep, warm tone. The open design also provides excellent feedback control at higher volumes, letting you push your amp without howling. Plugged in or unplugged, this Gretsch sounds fantastic.

Stunning Quilt Maple Body With Nitrocellulose Lacquer Finish

You'll make an unforgettable visual statement on stage with the G6120TGQM-56's stunning quilt maple body. The highly figured maple has an eye-catching 3D effect under the gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish. Adding to the vintage vibe, the historic G-brand logo is inlaid in black. The arched laminated quilt maple top further elevates the refined esthetics. The nitrocellulose lacquer allows the wood to vibrate freely, contributing to the full-bodied tone.

Bigsby B6CBDE Vibrato Tailpiece Adds Expressive Pitch Control

The Gretsch G6120TGQM-56 comes equipped with a Bigsby B6CBDE vibrato tailpiece, giving you a way to add expressive pitch effects to your playing. The smooth, comfortable palm handle makes it easy to bend notes, lending your solos and riffs more dynamics. You can also use the vibrato effect to create shimmering chords. Bigsby tailpieces have been used by rock, blues, country and jazz artists for decades to make their sound more emotive. The included mechanism is road-tested and designed for consistent tuning stability, even with heavy use.

TV Jones T-Armond Pickups Capture Authentic Gretsch Tone

This Gretsch hollowbody comes loaded with a pair of TV Jones T-Armond pickups designed to accurately capture the brand's sought-after tone. The bridge pickup produces clear treble and tight low end, while the neck pickup offers more rounded mids and bass. Together, they supply a balanced tonal palette. The master volume and individual pickup volume controls allow you to easily blend the pickups and shape your desired tone—from sparkling clean to overdriven crunch. The three-way toggle switch provides quick pickup switching. The T-Armond pickups reproduce the Gretsch sound with authenticity.

Smooth Rosewood Fingerboard With 22 Medium-Jumbo Frets

The G6120TGQM-56's smooth rosewood fingerboard encourages fast lead playing and comfortable chording. It has a 12" radius and 22 medium jumbo frets for bend-friendly action. Position inlays include aged pearloid blocks along the side of the neck. With its slim, fast U-shaped maple neck and 1.68" nut width, the Gretsch feels natural and easy to play. Impress the crowd by ripping off smoking solos up and down the fingerboard.
