Ibanez

collapse expand iconDescription

As part of the most recognizable and distinctive guitar in the Ibanez line, the RG8870 J. Custom is built for both speed and durability. Whether you favor a hardtail (fixed) bridge or a locking tremolo system, the RG is a precision instrument, featuring a flamed maple top and alder body paired to a special J. Custom Super Wizard 5-piece maple/wenge neck for a comfortable, stable grip that makes sweeping and string skipping easier. This is topped with a Macassar ebony fretboard that produces tight lows and mids along with a strong attack in the highs. DiMarzio PAF 36th Anniversary pickups offer up sweet tone and a perfect balance between warmth and clarity, as well as the ability to go from clean to distorted by pick attack alone. The combination with the DiMarzio True Velvet and Tone Zone pickups deliver depth, warmth and rich dynamics. Additional features include Gotoh machine heads and strap lock pins, along with a Lo-Pro edge tremolo.

A hardshell case is included.
